Preparation Guidelines Before Receiving Filler Injections

• Avoid facial massages and laser treatments for at least 3 days before getting filler injections.

• Refrain from drinking alcohol, using a sauna, or engaging in intense exercise within 24 hours before the treatment.

Post-Filler Care Instructions

• Avoid touching, bumping, or massaging the injection site, including facial massages of any kind, for at least 3 days.

• Avoid heat exposure or activities that cause facial flushing for at least 48 hours.

• Refrain from deep skin laser treatments for at least 1 month after the injections.

Common Concerns After Filler Injections

• After the injection, needle marks will last for about 2-3 days and will disappear on their own. Swelling and the final filler results will become fully apparent within 7-14 days.

• You can wash your face, apply makeup, and use creams as usual after 48 hours.

• You can wear makeup when coming in for the treatment.

• After the filler dissolves over time, the collagen and elastin produced will remain, keeping the treated skin area more hydrated with improved texture compared to before the treatment.

• If you are not satisfied with the results or the shape after 14 days, you can consult with the doctor for correction by dissolving the filler.
